Yesterday after a reboot, my MSN Messenger account wont sign in on my desktop.

My girlfriends will sign in no problem. I can sign in no problem on my laptop, and I can sign in to .net web sites.

No error pops up or anything, it just keeps "signing in", left it for about 2 hours today, and still "signing in"

Anybody have any ideas?

Hey,

I'm facing the same problem too. I tried trackin what I was doin and I have a feeling it was one of the windows updates that messed it up. Cuz I distinctly remember after I updated and rebooted it started givin me the same problem.

I have a feeling that was what caused it too.

I've done virus and adware scans as well, but nothing.
As well as a re-install, and a repair install.

Hey, found this link on Microsoft forum.

Fixes this problem. Brought up an error the first try to sign in, but worked the second time.

Never mind. I found it and yes the registry solution worked. Thanks a bunch Android. But I still wonder what caused the problem!

not sure what it was , but on the forum there were a lot of people with the same problem. Whet ever its fixed now.

And yeah I've done 100 posts
