Default Outlook Express, "To free up disk space, OE can compact messages..."

Hey guys,

Recently I started noticing that everytime I close Outlook Express, I get this message:

"To Free up Disk Space, Outlook Express can compact messages. This may take up to a few minutes. OK or Cancel"

I've gone through all of the options looking to see if I can turn this off, but I couldn't find anything. Is there an option that I missed, or maybe a registry setting I can change to make that go away?

Thanks!

I don't have it infront of me, but I believe it's under the Options Dialog Box and the Maintenance tab - this will allow you to turn it off.

If you do, you should still compact manually every month or so depending on your usage

Negative Chief,

There is no option to disable the compacting of messages. There is a "Clean Up..." Option under the maintenance, and you can manually run the compacting of messages, however there is nothing there that allows you to disable the dialogue box everytime it appears. That's why I'm wondering if maybe there is a registry setting somewhere.
