Just a quick thought.... Are you doing this over a network? and is the file your creating just inheriting the "parent" folder attributes? Cheers Kirk |

No, this is not over a network. The last two folders are on my d: root directory...but it happens everywhere for some reason.

It doesnt matter if it is over the network or not, he is right ensure that the folder options are not set to inherite the parent folder properties...
