I didn't realize I installed a Windows update that checks if my copy of windows is legit (of course it's not...don't look at me like that....like yours is real either) so when I started up after installing, it went through a process of telling me my copy wasn't genuine and all and tells me I can "resolve" my problem by getting "genuine" which probably requires me to purchase a key or something but I wans't too sure...I went past it by clicking on 'resolve later'. After that I tried system restore to before I installed this and it worked fine but now the mcafee virus scan doesn't seem to be working anymore...
im not sure if the two are related, i've noticed that my virus scanner doesn't have the "virus scan" on automatically and i have to enable it sometimes. anybody have an idea?
