I dont know what a 'full' desktop is but what happens when you do a search for the file??

You mean it was full visually, correct?
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Desktop where xxx is your user name. If not there, try all the other desktop folder for different users (default, etc) |

yeah. think Veronica meant that the desktop was already full of icons, which then Dreamliner's suggestion would probably be easiest.

I found it. I unzipped it. I don't know where the extracted folder went. I did another search for it. It didn't show up on the search. I watched where it went [I thought]. It said "OWNER~1~000". I can't find it. Does anyone know where to look??

Look under C:\Documents and Settings\owner~1.OOO\Local Settings\Temp
The tilde or "~" is part is an old 16 bit compatible file-naming convention. The Local Settings folder is hidden by default. You'll need to enable viewing of hidden folders if you haven't already. Alternatively, re-run Winzip or winRAR or whatever you use, and change the extraction destination
