SUP Ifenna I OWN YOU PC NOW!!!!! HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH". I was like how did they do that. I learned that the service that automatically starts with WinXP allows you to do this. I checked EventViewer and this is what it reads: "Application popup: Messenger Service : Message from SUPERMAN to 24.185.*.* on 3/3/2002 11:02:07 PM SUP Ifenna I OWN YOU PC NOW!!!!! HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp." What I want to know is how did this person do it? and How can I do it? |

No, he did probably did nothing, but if you got that your system is unsecure and you should secure it. First, get a firewall software, like ZoneAlarm. Then, disable the messenger service in Administrative Tools->Services. Open Messenger and click Stop and change the menu to Manual. That will disable the popup messages.
