Yeah, I'm really not sure what that is but I'm guessing it's got something to do with NVidea's client firewall or something - I didn't even know it existed until today.
I HOPE it was Wild Tangent and that DLP.dll causing the trouble. Can you post another log for me? |

Well, I can definitely say, that though Azureus uses java, and it's memory useage can be a fair size when I'm downloading a torrent, it still isn't any GB or so... It can be closer to a few tens of MB. Course I also restrict it to a 64 MB cache size (or had when I had 512 MB RAM, and never increased it now that I have a gig of RAM). The java VM does use some memory though, but not close to that much, based on what Task Manager shows on my system...
BTW, for virus scaning you might want to get rid of McCaffee, which really isn't the best option out there. And Norton isn't the best option either. I'm currently using Kaspersky antivirus, though I've got a friend who uses NOD32, and swears by it himself. Either of those will work better then McCaffee, and better then Norton as well, for that matter... |
