My outlook express was on D - and probably still is. I wouild like to copy the files (Inbox, outbox, adress book) from D so that they will show up in the Outlook express that is now on C. I then can resue the other data on D and reformat D. ??? |

By default:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{#######-....}\Microsoft\Outlook Express Make sure you have view:hidden files and folders enabled. |

OK.
I copied my filed from C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{#######-....}\Microsoft\Outlook Express. Everything worked great. However, I can't seem to copy Inbox.dbx into the directory on the C: drive. When I open Outlook Express I have all my sent items but no items in the inbox. |

Following the directions listed in Sean's post (see the link to Microsoft's KB article) works perfectly fine. I've used these directions several times on clients' computers.
