Default WinMX problems? Look here!
I've downloaded the current version of WinMX, but it still has errors, which would require the program to close and send the error report. (Which I've done numberous times.) Can anyone tell me the work around or if there is one?

Some more information may help. Which version are you trying? the latest release, or the latest beta?

Also what operating system are you using?

The current version is 3.53. I used to have 3.31. It still does the problem of coming acrossed an error, blah blah blah, you know the rest. *lol* Windows XP Home version would be the OS.

You may want to give 3.54 Beta 4 a try: http://dld91.winmx.com/45654935842241/winmx354beta4.zip

Apparently there are fixes to some issues which cause crashing. Also ensure that your hard disk/data is Ok by running scan disk (or some equivalent tool) as it has been known to cause problems when WinMX attempts to scan for files, and comes across a bad sector.
