Default Strange font problem in Office 2003
Wonder if you could help...I've come across a weird problem....

We're running an W2k network with XP clients (SP1) with each Office 2003 - the problem we have is that a number of our users's machines are hanging (not even task manager or process explorer would close Outlook.exe or any of the Office apps) when the user tries to choose another font in the drop down list, forcing the user to restart the PC.

I've found if I untick 'List Font Names In Their Font' in tools, customise the user is then able to select fonts from the drop down list, but obviously this is a quick fix and need to find the source of the problem.

Any ideas?

Did you install the XP machines from an image or manually? How much RAM are the XP boxes sporting?
