In outlook express I've set up my news, I can read postings,
but I can't post anything myself. Is there something I'm missing? I'm on shaw cable, and have no problem with getting connected and with email. Thanks for your help. |

what is the error message that the server reports when you try to post something?? I know there is a problem with OE that sometimes wont let you post of you have more quoted text than new text. Post back with the error message

Maybe your server requires authentication to post. Try opening the account settings and store oyur email account's username and password.

I get no error messages at all. Any new post or replay never
shows up. |

where i live, the shaw news servers dont need authentification.
Take a look at the bottom right of the screen after you post a message (see screenshot). Is there a yellow exclamation mark there? if so double click it and it will tell you the error. If not, im not sure what else it could be. |
