Default mozilla site screwed up by firefox?!

Out of curiosity I wanted to try the latest Firefox and I found it screws up its own site (Mozilla.org)

This is how the Mozilla.org page looks on Avant:

And this is how it looks on Firefox:

Is this amazing or what?!

looks like yet another bug in the firefox/mozilla CSS rendering engine

Use opera or IE it works

It doesn't look like a rendering bug. From the looks of it, I think the stylesheet isn't being applied at all (notice the default Times New Roman text?). Try clearing your cache, restart the browser and try the page again.

I found something funny, when you try to highlight more than one thing with shift it makes stuff disappear. It might sound crazy, but I just noticed it. I really have no way of showing it, but Ill take a few screens..

edit: hold shift and double click on text...I kinda like it

I already tried that (even reinstalled Firefox), it's not working and I'm not the only one.

off topic:

install windows 95 on a computer and try your best to install firefox without installing any microsoft additional software...

ok

try to do it without updating internet explorer.

the idea is to use a slow computer for internet and to only use firefoz

i gave up and had to install win98

ok, I finally figured it out. I have adblock installed and I guess this is a way to block google ads or something.

I just did a uninstall, deleted all traces. Then Reinstalled 1.0.5. The page is still the same. This tells me that the browser is not at fault. It's the idiots who made the page. Appearently they don't know how to use css or something ..

I also knotice that this thing is running way to slow .. None of the pages are loading very fast. I checked it with IE, they loaded ten times faster. So, I know it's not my connection ..

O.k I went to the firefox site, and of course, like everything else, they are blaming browser and not the web design. What a bunch of wankers. I did everything that was stated to do, non of the fixes worked. So I am dumping FIrefox and going back to maxthon. So good bye firefox, you POS !! lol...

I did a HTML validation and a CSS validation on mozilla.org and found HTML passed and CSS test found 2 minor bugs here. My guess is the bugs are in Firefox.

How can this bug affect releases 1.0.4, 1.0.5, and 1.0.6 ??? When I went threw it and tried to fix it. I clean uninstalled all three versions mentioned above. Did a clean install of them, the page was still screwed up. I just don't see how it can be the browser when it does the same thing in all versions. Plus seeing that is just started .. Testing the others showed me that it is not the browser .

Well since 1 of the only 2 CSS bugs in the site (only tested the frontpage - what one did you have issues with?) was for printing and the other I doubt would bork the whole site like that I would say it would have to be an issue with Firefox. I've tried it under both SeaMonkey and Safari and all seems good.

O.k .. It is the site .. This one: https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...cation=firefox : It is now doing it in IE, only diff is that the page isn't bunched together. There is no way it is the browser now .. If it does it IE also, then it is the site lol ..
