never mind, there is no need to disable it. After investigate, it just seems as if this whole thing was just blown up out of porportion. Media Player just keeps track of the things you play in a file, but the file never gets sent out to microsoft or anywhere else, the whole time it just sits on the local hard drive, so basically its harmless.

Just like i said, it is stored locally. The only information that leaves it the cookie info wich contains binary data so that the website can tell us what is the CD's title, all programs that grab the CD's title from the internet have to send some kind of information to grab the cd's title, its nothing new, microsoft just chose to do it in a form of a cookie. NO BIG DEAL PEOPLE!!! This was so over hyped and made people think it was something horrible, when reality it wasnt. There is more harm being done when you use Morpheus or kaaza.
