Default ATI Tool

Hi Guys,

How long do I let ATI Tool run for? I notice that it cranks up the speeds then slowly drops back down. Does it stop itself? Does it popup a window with my max settings? I checked the ATI site for info but none any there.

Thanks in advance,

Heeter

I'm not exactly sure. I do know it's not supported by ATI as it's 3rd party and could damage your card, as it's basically overclocking it.

Great Thanks,

So I am thinking that I let it go until it kinda hovers around a certain number.

That's what I have been doing.

See where it peaks and then set it manually to a few notches slower. I was not at all impressed with the tool. It would not converge on an number and it pushed the card too hard. You can do a better job yourself.

Thought for the new millenium:

Thanks Leejend,

I found that out myself later on (playing HL2).
