This one I don't know about. I haven't bothered with it because I boot right past that logon screen. I've seen similar problems posted... do a search, upper right, for 'login or logon' and see what you can find.

Enter safe mode (F8 when loading will bring you to an options menu, and select safe mode), enter the login customizing program, and search for an option that sounds something similar to "restore default."
Hope this helps. |

Yeah, the file that is replaced by these startup screen changers is \Windows\System32\LogonUI.exe this has probably been replaced with whatever you copied / installed. Do what Andre says and then you should be able to copy the original back over from \Windows\System32\Dllcache to the above path. Some of these utilities however create a new folder in \Windows\Resources\Logon?? which then means you will have to copy your LogonUI.exe from the Dllcache folder to this folder.
Hope you can understand some of that, i'm having dificulty myself!! TOK
