Question Default OS
When i installed Windows XP i was unsure about its features so i installed another operating system on to my computer. I need to know how to set the default Operating System so that Windows ME does not load up when i want Windows XP. can you please help me?

If you have done it correct - you should have a boot menu at start up. Just select XP

Insert your Windows XP installation CD and do a Repair Installation. Next time, install ME first, then XP.

Also note that you may have to manually edit your boot script to get into WinME.

you can also boot from your cd to xp...do a repair at the cmd prompt type bootcfg /? has good info for duel booting...had a similar problem use the bootcfg /fix it will fix the boot.ini
