Is there a way to put a password on specific folders to access on my computer?

AMD Athlon 64+ 3500
MSI Neo4 "Deluxe" Motherboard
ATI Radeon X800 XL PCI Express
2048 Corsair DDR Ram [2GB]
17" Sony flat panel LCD "XBrite"

i know we could do it on windows 2000/me but that technique doens't work on windows xp

besides a manuel sorta hackish way isn't there a good program to use instead?

here's some decent free encryption software... http://www.cypherix.com/cryptainerle/
you crate a pw protected virtual drive then just drag and drop the files\folders u wanna protect over and voila.
