I live in a German-speaking country and have just bought a new computer with XP Home Edition in German pre-installed. I need to get an English, preferably US, language version. I have thought of buying a copy in the US and install it on top of my present version. Would that work? Would an "upgrade" version work. Alternatively, would it be possible to upgrade to the Professional version and use the multi-language model to switch into English?

Shops, experts and hotlines here have not been able to give a clear answer. Grateful for an advice.

You can buy languauge packs for XP , which are quite cheap ....

You just install that language pack on your current XP and you have the choice what language to use

im not sure where to find them though :(

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
