Default Real player and XP?
hey all, any idea if realplayer works with xp? I tried the 8.0plus version and it didn't seem to want to work at all. At first it worked but provided no sound in any of the files (yeah I checked all soundcard and windows sound control stuffs ; ) Then I rebooted to see if magically that might fix the issue (hey, XP IS an ms os) and then real player totally stopped working, wouldn't open files or anything! So now I have several family guy episodes that I missed this season that I have a hankerin to watch but can't seem to get'em workin!! thanks for any info!

realplayer works fine for me on xp on two different machines. Try reinstalling it and see what happens

RealPayer works fine in XP, may be just re-install it. But now they called called RealOne, the interface is nice but I don't like the registration and a lot of not necessary information which are really bugging me. Prefer the older version.

real player 8 works perfectly under winxp. i think realone is just real player 8 with skins and subscription feature addon..

both realplayer and real jukebox work perfectly under the xp environment. Maybe it was your installation to was the problem? or if you upgraded and had it on before you upgraded you may need to install it again (registry problems).

Spotted this on Lockergnome, it's a converter, havent tried it myself
