to get rid of the 2nd OS boot up option, go to control panel, system, advanced tab at the top. Click on settings in the startup and recovery section.
then click on edit in the system start up section. a notepad window should open and the last 2 text entries should be this: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect Delete the one that references disk 2 or partition 2, wherever the 2nd install went save the file, close out of control panel and reboot. No more option during boot. |
