I openly admit to using pirated software, but the point is, I do that for my own personal reasons and gain. I'm not a multi-billion dollar company who could get sued to buggery for utilising pirated software to create part of my product which I shall be making a profit from.. see?

I imagine the bottom line of this is that Microsoft used a third party company to create these sounds and that is the reason for all this.

Or its a prank by an employee who knew they would be tagged

I think that the software I personally have pirated doesn't take out of any corps. pockets, cause if it wasn't there to pirate I simply would have never ever used it...I have bought 4 games in my life and every single one of them, I pirated first. The rest, well, they weren't worth the box they'de come in.
I don't have money to go around buying every new game that comes out. (Currently, I don't have the system to play them)
But I will be damned if I am not gonna sample the full version of a game before I shell out $50! That's a lot of money for me! I'm broke goin through school...
Anyways, this thread kind of reminds me of this little jewel:

this doesnt really have much to do with you or I, afterall we dont invest millions in protecting ourselves against piracy.

It looks good on them.

That seems to be the most reasonable explanation. I thought I read that somewhere too.
