Default Gmail POP3 workaround?

Anyone know of a little system tray app or something that acts as a POP3 mail server so i can view GMail e-mail's in MS Outlook as well as send messages through it?

Core 2 Quad Q9450 | 4GB DDR2 800 | Abit IP-35 Pro | eVGA GTX 295+

didn't the author of that stop workin on it? hence it don't work anymore, since Google changed it's login style or some junk?

Yes. He did stop working on it and last time I checked, it didn't work after Google changed their login method.

What you want is gPopper.

gmail now offers pop. i just setup mine and it works great.
