Question Umax 3400
Windows XP generic driver for this scanner worked great as long as you do not scan pictures,then the quality falls off. Does anyone know when UMAX will release XP drivers or a way around the built in drivers that come with XP..thanx

Default Umax 3400
I went to Umax site and downloaded the latest Vistascan and a new upgrade.

The latest Vistascan seems OK but the Upgrade cocked things up.

Not sure about photo quality, you will have to try yourself. I dont much care for Win XP interface.
