Anyhoo, here's the deal. After waking up from hibernation, my task bar is gone. This only started after installing SP2. HE'P! Thanks very much, David |

if you're using a desktop pc disable hibernation.
if its a laptop its debatable whether its usefull so you could probably disable it there too. However in the eventuallity you dont want to do that you could try this reg file: Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] "SystemTray"="SysTray.Exe" and wait for someone else to come up with a solution

Thanks. I'll see if anyone has any other solution, 'cause I'm not comfortable with the registry stuff.
Failing that, I'll disable hibernation...I was trying to save energy...and the planet! David |
