Permissions, AFAIK, are done by group, not by user. Administrator should not be locked out of anything though...If you want to hide data, encrypt the folder and put a password on it. As for that simple file sharing, I'm not sure, but I'm guessing it'd be because in order to share files from windows box to windows box (without using http/ftp) you need the protocol installed. Same reason why you can't access a 95/98 box from another without file/printer sharing enabled (at least access without hacking

the best way is to remove all users but yourself in the permissions tab, give yourself full control and make sure that only your username is given access, not the whole administrators group, and if possible block inheritable permissions..
Being an MCP does have it's advantages
