It then asks for you to hit any key to reboot, and this cycle continues, and I cannot get in to Windows. I dont care about partitioning anymore, I just need to get back into my files - urgently. I have access to the BIOS etc - and have set it to boot from CD, then HDD. Can I burn a cd that will let me boot into Windows to uninstall Partition Magic, or how in the flying crap do I get back in? Thanks! |

Since it sounds like you have another machine in the house, set it as slave in there and copy any important files over to that machine. Then try a "Repair Windows" with the XP cd.

I hit F8 and booted up with my last known good settings.
Uninstalled PartitionMagic - and were good as gold. Rep to those who posted, none the less ^^ |

Go here and create a boot disk... should let you get back in. |
