Default is it possible to use an SMC Wireless 7004VWBR Router to expand my wireless network?

im gonna buy a new pc and it comes with a free SMC Wireless 7004VWBR Router. i already have a linksys wireless router that shares my internet connection. the signal strength i get here in my room is ok, and sometimes is real crap. is it possible to use the new router i'd be getting in order to expand the signal of the wireless network? or at least to connect both routers together or something of the sort?

thx!
Apu
