You can have custom equilisers for each individual tune if you can't find one that doesn't suit everything.
Personally I prefer to listen to music how the artist intended it

Depending on the type of music you listen to, you'd need to play with the EQ until you find out what sounds best. There isn't really one generic EQ setting that usually works for every kind of music.
I usually start off with Electronica or Rock as a base presets, and fine tune them until they sound just right.
