Default Weird effect - how did I do it?
HMMmmmm how to describe this? Presently whenever I grab a pulldown menu it is kinda transparent, but as I hover in the area (which is vaguely boxed) the various options fill in (though not any gaps) including any greyed out....

Everything else seems normal - I haven't tweaked anything I know of and all was normal to start with. Is this just some weird instability? I feel sure it's gonna go away on a reboot - the weird thing is I kinda like it.... does that make me a freak?

Only thing I can think of is I am running the Java plug-in console, but see no issue there...

HMMmmm even weirder - if I roll my mouse left and right some pulldowns do it and some do not - and it varies from app to app... anyone any ideas? Just curious really.

too late - rebooted and it's gone away... I kinda liked it (plus a screen shot would never have shown it - woulda taken an animation or something...
