Open Windows Explorer (not IE) > tools > folder options > file types > find the extention of the files you want to download (.zip or whatever) click it > click "Advanced" > check "Confirm open after download"

Is there any way of returning everything to the default? Its gonna take a long while if I do it one by one.

Thanks

The setting should only apply to whatever file type you where downloading when you originally ticked the box

"*I'm* on the server side. I don't know what side you're on"
