Default IE Repair?

Hi!

A few days ago my laptop went haywire on me, windows went crazy. So I did a 'sfs /scannow' and now it's better. But IE is still messed up... like I try to open IE and all i get is a window which i can't maximize.. appears to always be minimized.. How do you preform a IE repair, or how do I fix this problem?

Windows XP Professional w/ SP1 w/ latest windows updates
IE 6.0 (or whatever the latest, final build is)
Dell Latituide D600 Laptop

Thanks,

lieb39
