Display Properties

Running Win 2K. When Display Properites are opened the Appearence Tab, Desktop Tab, Screen Saver Tab and most important the Settings Tab are missing. The Display Properties contains only the Web and Effects Tab. Have changed monitors and video cards, same results. Currently using GForce 2 64MB PCI video card w/ Nividia drivers. Tried drivers from video card mfg., same result. Anyone have a clue.Thanks

This is most likely caused by policy settings. Click start - run, type: gpedit.msc
Under User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Control Panel - Display check if there are any policies enabled.

The Group Policy Editor fixed the problem. Policies were not configured, but disabling a policy allowed use of the item. Thanks for the help!!!!
