Crono_logical,

I am having mass problems with networking over firewire. I have XP Pro on the desktop and XP Home on the laptop. I am connecting through the Audigy2 Platinum firewire port. It shows up on Device Manager and with Network Wizard, all seems to be well, except that when I try to repair the connection, it states that tcp/ip is not enabled, which it is. Also, Status shows:

Address Type <unavailable>
IP Address <unavailable>
Subnet Mask <unavailable>
Default Gateway <unavailable>

I have another PC connected with crossover cable and sharing Internet using Ethernet ports, so all is well with that connection.

Any suggestions?
