for example if I have a folder with multiple subfolders and I want to apply the thumbnail view to all of them, is there an easier way than manually doing so? I suspect it may be possible with templates, but I'm not quite sure how.... |

You running Windows XP?
You can do this by right clicking on the root folder and then select Properties. It's on the Customzise... tab. |

Didn't work for me. The main folder has thumbnail but one folder in it still shows files only as 'list'. Couldn't see what needed changing.
