one more thing, roughly how much space is needed for a portal?
and how many sql databases?

not much space... 1-3MB
and as for database you only need one.

Really? You installed it and tried it? Don't be turned off by the yucky layout and other crap they did to XooPs on the homepage...

It depends on your experince level, I am an old faggalo to this PHP stuff, so I just took in all those fancy layout/permission features in a split second
