I need to be able to synchronize two folders, each on a different computer on my network, so that they both contain the same files, and that any duplicated files will only be replaced with newer versions. I used to just copy the folder from one machine, then back to the other, but it's far from ideal to do this. I need a program which can do this for me, without copying all of the files which exist in both folders and which haven't changed since the last update. In case it's relevant, the folder contains around 50,000 files and takes up 3.5GB. Hope someone can help. Bablos. |

Hi There...
Doesn't My Briefcase create a copy of each file you put into it? From what I've seen about it, it's far from ideal for my purposes. Bablos. |

Here is a link to the one that I used to use. It works great for just what you want. I don't know if it can do that many files though.
http://www.fileware.co.uk/screenshots.htm#FileSync It is shareware, but I think you can try it. |
