Do your other Office apps (Excel, Outlook etc) work normal? If so, the program may be in 'locked' mode, which means you use Word XP and you have to activate it. Word (as can every Office XP program) can be started up to 50 times without activating it.

You are not using a crack, do you? I am not accusing you of anything, but most Office cracks only remove the message, but still continue to count.
Assuming you're not, try making a new document by doing Rightclick (with your mouse) -> New -> MS Word Document. Give it a name and open it in Word. Now try to edit it, does that work? |

I red in your second post that all of the office programs are not working properly. Sounds to me you are using one of the cracks I mentioned, and the counter has now reached 0, so the programs are in a sleep state. As it is against guidelines to talk about warez/cracks etc, I nor anyone else on this board can help you
