I just got an Audigy 2 from Dell and I'm trying to install it. I downloaded the latest WDM drivers from Creative's site, but when I try to install them, it says that its detected VxD drivers and that I have to uninstall these first and then run the installation again. I've already cleared my system of my previous drivers (which were for an SBLive! 5.1).

Anyone know how to solve this?
Thx,
Apu

I think Dell has there own set of Audigy 2 drivers. Should check their site.

if possible put the card in pci slot 4. that should help, all creative cards are funny about what irq they have/share.

yeah, my audigy (1) is picky about which slot it's in.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
