Sometimes I leave the PC working all the night and most of the times my conection goes down after a half hour...

does anyone know a good tool for keep the conection alive ?
(1) Asus P4S800D, Pentium 4 2.8 HT, 1 GB DDR 400 Ram, ATI Radeon 9700 PRO , XP Home SP2 incuding all updates, ADSL 2000/200
(2) LG Laptop, F1 Pro Express Dual.

When I was on dialup I use to run my email program and set it to check for mail every 5 minutes.

if you have norton system works, there's a setting somewhere in it, (don't have it installed anymore sorry) called "connection keep-alive" that should do it, if you have norton that is...
