Default Need a good free program like photoshop

I need to make some templates for stickers and stuff and I don't have photoshop. Turns out, no one I know has it. What is a good free program to use for "making" pictures certain sizes etc?

Or try the new Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 Beta. I use beta 5 now and it works like a charm. You don't have any brushes or sump, but for editing it's perfect.

PaintShop Pro 8 isn't free or at least it wasn't the last time I checked.

I can't see it being a full no time-limit version whether its beta or not. But even if it is time limited it only takes an hour and a half on 56K.

It looks good to me, no info given on install of time limited or other restrictions.

You could try Open Canvas. It's not free, but I'm pretty sure you can do the trial version thing. It's only like $50 or $60 to buy tho. (Beats photoshops price)

There's a working list at this site:
http://www.ntfs.org/forum/showthread...threadid=31797

Several Image Editors are listed there.
Definitely consider the GIMP. It's free and has quite a number of features.

I've seen some rather impressive pieces of art created through Open Canvas. Here is a pic from an artist on DeviantArt that uses OC quite a bit. I've installed OC and the interface reminds me a tad bit of GIMP and Photoshop.

The Beta versions of PaintShop expires 5 weeks after the creation date (not install date)

I tried it out and I would not recommend Open Canvas. The GIMP and 20/20 (which are both free) have more capabilities than Open Canvas. See this link: http://www.ntfs.org/forum/showthread...threadid=31797
Also, it doesn't come near the features of Photoshop or Pixel32 ($32).
