Default Creating an MSI file

Ok... here's the scenario. I do all of the software packaging for my company. I have a whole arsenal of tools available. Ultimately I am trying to create an MSI file to install Adobe Acrobat reader. I need it to be a one file install. For those of you not familiar with SMS installer or any software of the like, then I am probably going to lose you. I do not want to use the installer in the typical way, creating a snapshot before and after install and creating a package from that. I am trying to install Acrobat Reader using a setup.iss file created from running "setup.exe -r" The problem... In order to utilize the iss file for automated installation I had to extract the original single file installation to run the setup.exe application within it. It would be so much easier to copy one file using the SMS installer to a temp directory then copying a directory containing multiple directories. I have attempted to use iexpress.exe (an application available in Windows 2000 to create a self-extracting/autolaunching file) but the problem with it is that it does not work with subdirectories. I know that there are many applications out there to use, but I am looking for a recommendation for anything that would create a self-extracting file that will autolaunch a file within with any parameters that I choose. The self-extracting file can not have any prompts, must simply run upon execution. I would prefer to find a freeware/shareware program that would allow me to do this. Any suggestions? Sorry if I threw a bunch of you off. I guess the first half of the post wasn't really even necessary... but I like to give some background. Hey.. makes me look smart, huh?

Thanks guys... and of course, ladies...

Oh... forgot to mention... the MSI file will be a "one click" install. Completely automated. Not that it matters, but incase anyone is asking.
