Default Network Shared Folder Video Problems

Hi ppl. I have 2 xp machines, one doesn't have enough space for all the .avi (averaging at around 60mb each) files so the other machine shares it in a folder and they are played across the network. Both windows media player 9 and winamp have no problem playing 1 file but if you put more than 1 into the playlist both programs crash upon loading the second and generally crash explorer.exe in the process. Par the simple work around of dragging files u want to watch across for viewing, does any1 have any tips how I could stop this from happening?

Cool

No this sounds really strange. I have a similar setup and I can play several files after eachother. At least MPG. Not sure I've tried .avi...
