how do you change cookie name?

H

huh

I am running windows xp and always log in using the administrator account. The 'name' for this account is, let's say 'dd.' The guest account is always off.

I want to change the name of the cookie that is sent by/stored on my computer as well as the name of the local folder that has the same name. 'xxx@website.com' let's say.

Regardless of what names I enter for the admin account in the control panel's 'user accounts' and computer name in 'system,' my local folder and cookie names continue to be 'xxx,' not 'dd' or other name.

How do I change my admin account's cookie name that is seen by websites?

Thanks in advance.

You username (the xxx) is not seen by the web site.

It is set by your username, change the username and you change the part before the @ but you should really not worry about it :)

Rename the admin account and you rename the cookie to.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
