Default how can I link in the same document?

I need create a word doc and I would like to have all the topics in the top so that people can click a nd it will link to the full detail article in the bottom of the same document. That is to link to the same document. I am having trouble doing this. does anybody have an idea on how to do it??

I'm not the Office expert by far, but I'm sure you can get it using the Table of Contents feature.

From the Word help file:
You can create a table of contents for a document that you plan to print as well as view in Word. For example, when you display the document in print layout view, the table of contents includes page numbers along with the headings. When you switch to web layout view, the headings are displayed as hyperlinks so that you can jump directly to a topic.
That should do you right.
