If you try and move your current program files folder, you will probably have some problems. Using Norton System Works it will find the invalid shortcut paths and change them, but I still don't recommend it.
You can change your defaults paths in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion look for "ProgramFilesDir" and "CommonFilesDir" and change the paths there. That will affect new installations only. |
