Question Basic or Dynamic Disk?

I'm curious...out of the two, what should I pick for my hard drive? I'm installing a new one here, and Disk Management is prompting me for this question. I do know that basic disks are the old system, but should I go to a dynamic disk?

If you are the only user there really is no need for you to go dynamic. Making the drives dynamic enables you to "mount " drives....basically you can take partitions or other drives and make them part of another parrtition or drive. Let's say you have several people on a network and they are allowed a set amount of drive space or whatever space they have is just about full, you make part of another drive that has sufficient space part of the drive you need to enlarge. The drives retain their letters c: or d: for example, and work goes on.
Unless you are going to get another drive and do a software raid configuration staying basic is just fine.
