Have you looked for conflicts / drive ID info in Device manager ?
Have You loaded any conflicting hardware recently ? Did you clean the drive ? Windows XP supports nearly all drives with generic drivers. Also try highlighting dvd entry in D/M , removing and then system will refind drivers on boot up. |
