if I'm not mistaken, you don't really need a plug in for WMP to play DVDs, also (I don't know about 9x/ME/2000) you could try going to Start>Run... and put in dvdplay and click OK.... if it still doesn't play any DVDs, then I don't know any decoder plug ins
