yeah...I use IE6 but i get the same error.i dont remember how to go make the irc:// links tell your irc client to go to a certain server or channel. can any one help?

Sounds like the link you're clicking has been spelled incorrectly. pr00fX the link format is irc://server/channel example: irc://irc.efnet.org/ntfs |

thats-not-what-i-mean
It-used-to-be-when-i-clicked-those-links-(irc://blahblahblah)-IE-would-launch-my-irc-client. But-since-i-have-upgraded-to-xp-it-doesnt-do-it-anymore- any-suggestions? oh-yeah sorry-about-allthe----- my-spacebar-isbroken i-should-have-a-new-one-by-thursday |

Well, what IRC client are you using ?
If its mIRC, then on the newer versions the irc:// links are disabled by default and need to be re-enabled via : File > Options > IRC > Catcher > Enable Support for Chat links. |
