i tend 2 just set it going then just watch tv or sumin. i'm only using about 4Gb of my 40Gb drive

4 giga, this is normal...also it depends on your processor speed you take 40 mins..others might take an hour like geffy..I take 33 mins with 1.5 GHZ to scan around 14 gigas.

I havent tried with my new CPU, but around 15GB on one drive + about 60 on the second with a 1.0GHz cpu, it was taking 2 hours.

I now have 54GB on the second drive and still tryin to clean that one out and only 5GB on my first drive with a 2.08GHz 2600+ cpu.
